UV Gloss Coating and UV Matte Coating
Flooded UV Coating
Flooding a coating is the process of applying a gloss or matte finish onto the
entire printed piece and then drying rapidly by using ultraviolet light. The
finish can be either glossy and reflective, or matte and dull. UV Coating is
typically done on 80lb and higher card stocks, but can be applied the some text
weight papers as well.
